At 20 years of age, the actress takes on the role of Wednesday Addams in the Netflix sensation. Jenna, however, professes her unawareness concerning any developments in the forthcoming season.
She said, “I’ve witnessed nothing and am unaware of anything.”
As an actor, you often find yourself at the mercy of others’ directions, yet I’m in anticipation. It seems they’re only now assembling a team of writers, so… there’s hope for developments soon.
In a recent TikTok video, Lady Gaga imitated Jenna’s well-known dance from “Wednesday.” Jenna also acknowledges how “really, really sweet” the video was.
In a conversation with Variety on Tuesday (01.10.23) at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, right before the Golden Globes, Jenna expressed her thoughts: “It’s really strange.”
It’s quite amusing; there was a period in my past when I collaborated with a hairstylist who previously had the chance to work with her. A few years prior, I had the opportunity to attend Lady Gaga’s concert in Boston, and following that, she sent me an incredibly sweet video. In the video, she said, “Hey Jenna, I’ve been told you’re a fan…” It was a sweet video.

Recently, Christina Ricci has been vocal in her admiration for Jenna, her colleague from “Wednesday.” She considers her to be “amazing.”
Since they started working together on the Netflix series, the 42-year-old actress who played Wednesday in the “Addams Family” movies from the early 1990s has been very impressed with Jenna.
Christina, who portrayed a different role in that series, shared: “I enjoyed playing the role of Wednesday.”
I hold immense pride in that particular position. Furthermore, I believe Jenna Ortega is nothing short of spectacular. Her courage and coolness stand out and truly bring justice to her role. The character of Wednesday has rightfully become hers now… and both of these sentiments can be true simultaneously!
