Star Wars fans rushed to point out an important feature in the White House’s most recent AI-made picture of Donald Trump.
The computer-generated picture shows President Trump with a lot of strength, holding a lightsaber in front of a background of two US flags and bald eagles.
It was put up for Star Wars Day, May 4th, in honor of the saying, “May the force be with you.”
That’s what the White House’s official X account said with the post: “Happy May 4th to everyone, even the Radical Left Lunatics who are working so hard to bring back Sith Lords, Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, and well-known MS-13 Gang Members.” The Rebellion is not you; you are the Empire. Have a wonderful 4th of July.
Happy May the 4th to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics who are fighting so hard to to bring Sith Lords, Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, & well known MS-13 Gang Members, back into our Galaxy. You’re not the Rebellion—you’re the Empire.

Fans of the sci-fi movie and TV series, on the other hand, said that Trump’s red sword makes him look like a wicked Sith Lord.
One person on X wrote, “Ummm, Red is the color of the Sith.” “But why are you holding a red lightsaber?” asked someone else.
Someone else wrote, “Lol, at least you made him look like a bad guy, right? only Sith have red lightsabers.” “Fake nerds.”
A fourth person said, “The lack of self-awareness and hypocrisy of calling the left “the empire” and showing Trump a Sith lightsaber.
People who play heroic roles in the movie series use blue, green, and purple lightsabers. One user stated, “The Jedi have blue and green lightsabers, except for Mace Windu, who has a purple one because Samuel L. Jackson wanted one, and the Sith have red ones.” There you have it. The White House is making Trump look like a Sith because he has a red sword.
It’s not the first time that a picture made by AI has caused trouble for the White House. JD Vance has addressed Trump’s now-famous AI-generated image of himself as the Pope earlier today.
As a Catholic, the vice president was one of the last world leaders to meet with Pope Francis before he died on Easter Monday. He said, “It’s okay for people to make jokes.”
Both domestically and internationally, Trump has faced criticism for the image. Former Italian prime minister Matteo Renzi and the Catholic priests of New York state are two examples.
It shows Trump sitting in a fancy chair, wearing white papal robes and a hat, with his right thumb raised. He is not smiling.
