It seems that Vivienne, the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has their artistic sensibilities. Angelina Jolie hired her 15-year-old daughter, Vivienne, who has an immense dedication to the field of theater. Jolie has taken the initiative to serve as Vivienne’s assistant in this endeavor.
This week, Jolie made a rare public remark on her youngest daughter, Vivienne, telling numerous media outlets that she is “serious about theater.”
According to E! News, the 48-year-old Oscar winner has engaged Vivienne to work as a volunteer assistant on the forthcoming Broadway musical adaptation of The Outsiders.
Jolie, whose mother was the late actress Marcheline Bertrand, has compared Viv to her own mother. “Viv reminds me of my mother in that she isn’t focused on being the center of attention but on being a support to other creatives,” Jolie remarked. She has put in a lot of time and effort to learn more about theater and figure out how she can be most helpful.
Jolie and Pitt’s exes co-parent Vivienne. Both Maddox, 22, and Pax, 19, as well as Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 17, and Vivienne’s twin Knox, are children of the previous spouse.
It was reported earlier this month that Jolie will take on the role of executive producer for a musical adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s 1967 book and Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 film The Outsiders. After its successful debut at La Jolla Playhouse earlier this year, the musical adaptation is moving on to the Great White Way.
Telling Deadline, “I feel very fortunate to be a part of this special production,” Jolie expressed her gratitude. After attending the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in theater. Up until today, I had no idea how to get home. I’ve been working with this incredible group of people since my daughter took me to watch the production at La Jolla Playhouse, and I can only hope that I can have a positive impact while also learning from them.
“I can’t begin to express how excited I am for this musical to make its Broadway debut and look forward to sharing this new adaptation of The Outsiders with the world”, she declared.
