What’s the plot of ‘Alien: Romulus’?
The narrative of Alien: Romulus is being kept extremely tight-lipped. Variety reports that the film would revolve around “a group of young people on a distant world, who find themselves in a confrontation with the most terrifying life form in the universe.” Spaeny said that the film is set in the same setting as Alien and Aliens. In terms of chronological, this falls somewhere in the center, since Prometheus and Alien: Covenant are prequels to Alien, while Alien 3 and Alien: Resurrection continue the story of Aliens.
It’s unknown how closely Romulus will resemble the previous flicks. Sigourney Weaver’s famous role from the original films is stuck in time throughout the events of Romulus, while Michael Fassbender’s android David’s actions in the prequel films may or may not be important.
