Universal has announced that Jurassic World Rebirth will be released on July 2, 2025. An action-packed narrative has also been revealed by the company.
Jurassic World Rebirth follows a brave crew as they race against time to collect DNA samples from the three biggest dinosaurs on land, sea, and air. The story summary states that five years after Jurassic World Dominion, the planet’s ecosystem is unfriendly to dinosaurs.
The survivors live in secluded equatorial locations with conditions comparable to their former homes. Three giant monsters in this tropical habitat have the secret to a medication that might save civilization.
Oscar contender Scarlett Johansson plays Zora Bennett, a covert operations specialist who leads a talented team on a top-secret mission to steal genetic material from the largest dinosaurs. Zora’s quest collides with a civilian family whose boating vacation is wrecked by marauding aquatic dinos, leaving them trapped on an island where they discover a decades-old secret.
Godzilla (2014) and The Creator director Gareth Edwards will direct Jurassic World Rebirth. The script will be written by Jurassic Park creator David Koepp. The picture will be executive produced by Steven Spielberg via Amblin Entertainment, Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, and David Leitch and Kelly McCormick of 87North.
Executive Vice President of Production Development Sara Scott and Creative Executive of Production Development Jacqueline Garell will manage Universal’s project.
