How To Make A Custom QR Code

You want to make a QR code for your print ads. Everyone is using QR Codes now. Sure, you already know how to create one.

A custom-designed QR Code draws 50-200 times more scans than a simple black-and-white one. A customized QR Code stands out from a standard black-and-white QR Code.

This is critical if you plan to use QR Codes for marketing. As a call-to-action on your print creatives, the QR Code should stick out. It would be best to have a QR code generator free that offers customization to match your brand images.

The following are the basic elements of a QR Code:

So, you can:

  1. Put your logo in the QR Code or as a backdrop image
  2. Edit the eye color and data modules
  3. Edit the eye and data module pattern

But will adding a logo affect your QR Code’s scannability? Don’t panic. It can’t!

Though adding a logo necessitates the removal of a few data modules from the QR Code’s center, it is still scannable. How? This is because QR Codes can fix errors.

Error correction in a QR Code ensures that it can be scanned even if broken or distorted by up to 30%.

The degree of damage is determined by the level of error correction used while constructing the QR Code: L (7%), M (15%), H (25%), and V (25%). (30% ).

In the center of the QR Code is a text logo.

You can also use text as a logo in the center of the QR Code, just like you would a picture.

The wording can include a call-to-action (CTA) such as “Scan here,” “Scan to Win,” or “Scan to RSVP.”

This QR Code design option allows you to tell your audience what they should do or expect after scanning the QR Code. As a result, your QR Code will be scanned by the greatest number of individuals.

QR Code with an image background

This design is perfect for combining QR Codes with print media. A QR Code backdrop image can be used instead of a logo in the center.

This design choice does not allow changing the QR Code’s color. The QR Code eyes and data modules can be customized.

Use a QR Code Generator that allows customizing.

Many websites offer to supply free QR codes. But only a few offer custom design services.
