Lizzie Kieffer, an influencer, and her family are suffering the untimely loss of their 1-year-old baby.
Kieffer, who goes by @doclizziedpt, has built a social media following as a physical therapist, offering pelvic floor exercises for pregnant moms as well as prenatal and postpartum fitness regimens. She has approximately 300,000 Instagram followers.
Kieffer, who is now expecting another child, shared the tragic news about her daughter Lilian Louise Kieffer in an Instagram post over the weekend.
“We are shattered,” Kieffer said in his statement.
Kieffer claimed she and her family awakened on April 23 to find Lilian, whom they call Lily, had “passed away,” adding that the family subsequently discovered the 1-year-old had a “large mass on her brain.”

Kieffer referred to Lilian, who had recently celebrated her first birthday on April 13, as the family’s “angel.” She noted in the caption of the photo that the youngster “taught [them] more in 1 year than most can in their life.”
“You will always be a part of us, and although the hole will never be filled, speaking your name will sing through our days, bringing joy to the moments,” according to Kieffer. “You are our guiding light in this darkness, and we are confident that God is keeping you in a very special place.”
Lilian’s obituary also characterized her as “Daddy’s girl,” adding that the small girl enjoyed “climbing into the ball pit” and “riding around in her little red car” with her elder sister Mia, 2.
Kieffer and her husband, Matt Kieffer, are expecting their third child in September.
