Ted Lasso is an American comedy television season created by Bill Lawrence, Jason Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt, and Joe Kelly. The season premiered on Apple TV+ on August 14, 2020, with its initial three episodes. An American college coach of football Ted Lasso enlisted to coach an English Premier League team, AFC Richmond by the club’s owner Rebecca Welton. He has no experience in association football.

Jason Sudeikis is a writer, executive producer, and star. His watershed performance as the main character of Ted Lasso as an American football coach and leads the Wichita State Shockers in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Championship. Hannah Waddingham is the new owner of AFC Richmond and working as Rebecca Welton in the series. She is divorced and wants the ruination of the team as her ex-husband loved it the most. She seems antagonist, and at last, comes to respect Ted. Jeremy Swift acts as Higgins. He is a lickspittle and helps Rebecca to ruin the AFC Richmond. He steadily commiserates to Ted’s ways. Phil Dunster acts as Jamie Tartt; an upcoming star. An egocentric person and foil to team spirit. Ted is trying to indoctrinate him at Richmond.
Brett Goldstein works as Roy Kent and is the writer of the series too. He is an old person; who once won a title and often acts as an angry star in Ted Lasso. Brendon Hunt as Coach Beard is also a producer and writer of the series. He is Ted’s reticent assistant and friend for a long time. Nick Mohammad acts as Nathan Shelly. He is the team’s kit man; an unconfident guy but having much football knowledge. He has influenced by Ted’s optimistic view of reality. Ted calls him “Nate the Great” he always remains engaged with coaches. Juno Temple as Keeley Jones; she is a model who works for AFC Richmond. At the start of the Ted Lasso series; she was Jamie’s girlfriend.
