In a move finalized on Thursday, Nexus Uranium cleared outstanding debts totaling $81,000. The settlement was achieved through the issuance of 42,408 common shares to a creditor. This transaction directly supports the company’s goal of maintaining liquidity for operational and exploration expenditures in North America.
By leveraging equity instead of depleting cash reserves, management has optimized its balance sheet. The newly issued shares are subject to a standard four-month statutory hold period in accordance with Canadian regulatory requirements.
