Kate Middleton brought uplifting news to royal fans on Monday, sharing an emotional update about her cancer treatment in a heartfelt video posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ social media accounts.
In the clip, Middleton is seen with her husband, Prince William, and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. With gratitude in her voice, she shared, “As summer draws to a close, I can’t express how relieved I am to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment.”
Reflecting on the past year, she added, “The last nine months have been incredibly challenging for us as a family. Life can change in an instant, and we’ve had to find our way through the stormy waters and navigate the unknown.”
She went on to say, “The cancer journey is a complex, frightening, and unpredictable experience, especially for those closest to you. It humbles you, forcing you to confront your vulnerabilities in ways you never imagined. With that comes a fresh perspective on life, one that shifts how you see everything around you.”
The emotional three-minute video, directed by Will Warr, captures heartfelt moments of Princess Kate with her family outdoors. The footage includes scenes of them walking through a golden wheat field and playing cards with her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.
Throughout the video, Kate and Prince William share touching moments, including one where she rests her head on William’s shoulder, offering a glimpse of their deep bond. Another tender scene shows the couple lying on a picnic blanket, heads close together, arms wrapped around each other.
Earlier this year, Kate revealed her cancer diagnosis, which followed a scheduled abdominal procedure. Since then, she has largely stepped out of the public eye to prioritize her healing.

My focus now is staying cancer-free. While I’ve completed chemotherapy, the road to full recovery is long, and I must take it one day at a time. However, I am looking forward to returning to work and participating in more public engagements when I can.
Despite everything, I begin this new chapter with renewed hope and a deep appreciation for life. William and I are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received, drawing great strength from the kindness, empathy, and compassion of those helping us. It has been truly humbling.
