How would be the Upcoming Movie on Netflix; Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey with its Review and Critics

After Halloween: the next awaited occasion is full of cheer and merry i.e. Christmas. Christmas is a magnificent time of the whole year. So the entertainment-based production houses are working relatively; a Christmas holiday movie named Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey written and directed by David E. Talbert; is coming for the Netflix audience on 13 November 2020. Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey is a movie that is a mixture of music and fantasy; which can make the Christmas holidays kinetic. In which a toymaker revives his lost spirit with the help of his 10-years granddaughter and invents a toy that was impossible for many years.

A Christmas story:

David E. Talbert is an inventive and triumphant scriptwriter who has a background in “Baggage claim” and “Almost Christmas” follows by beautifully acted Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey. In the starting scenes of the movie; two children (Ria Calvin, Kenyah Sandy) ask their grandmother (Phylicia Rashad) to tell them a holiday story. Los Angeles Times, states that one child insists on “Twas the Night Before Christmas” but the grandmother agrees with them for a new story when she said, “I think it’s time for the new one.”

So the new story revolves around a toymaker named Jeronicus Jangle (Justin Cornwell and later act by Forest Whitaker); who owns a toy store Jangle and Things; in which he invents toys; in the town of Cobblestone. He runs the store with the help of his wife and daughter. But Jeronicus Jangle is in hassle when Ill-starred novice; Gustafson (Miles Barrow) steals his priceless invention of a reboot named Don Juan Diego(voice by Ricky Martin) along with some other drawings and plans of his inventions. Soon his wife dies and his business runs no more. These couple of incidents ruins Jeronicus life; meanwhile, he also owns debt from the bank. Years pass away and the time comes when Jeronicus Jangle either has to invent something revolutionary or the Jangle and Things would shut down forever. So, before the deadline by the bank; Jeronicus starts work on the invention with the motivation of his granddaughter (Madalen Mills).

Lyrics composes by Philip Lawrence, Davy Nathan, and Michael Diskint

The music of the movie composes by Philip Lawrence, Davy Nathan, and Michael Diskint including John Legend, who is also the producer of Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey. It has choreographed with energetic dance by Ashley Wallen. “This Day”, stunning performance on “Magic Man G” and some other numbers such as “Square Root of Possible” and “Make it Work” is the splendid compositions of this movie. The costumes use in the movie are of vibrant colors and reflect African civilization design by Micheal Wilkinson. The make-up and hairstyle artist is Sharon Martin which is really admirable who gave a stylish Afro look to the actors. The cinematographer is Remi Adefarasin and the Production designer is Gavin Bocquet.

Poor Narration but strong choreography:

While presenting emotional relationships; David showcases a Christmas movie, but unluckily skips captivating plot due to many festive scenes. Emma-Jane Betts reported that during the struggle of making the toy; the deadline by the bank is often forgotten in the Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey.  In spite of poor narration; the songs are choreographed greatly which is a strong point of the movie. The most powerful and interesting thing about the movie is David cast Black stars for some scenes and White stars for the time when we jump 30 years back; it actually denies the racism. David casts outstanding people and the presentation of the movie becomes stronger with the lively dance and vocal codes. The movie has an attenuated script but the comic scenes made it worth watching. Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey is a mixture of fun, comedy, music, fantasy, and candy colors with Victorian ages set which is captivating and eye-catching for the Children. Although it is full of classical scenes and set; it marks all the Christmas movies by engrossing its audience in the magic of fantasy and innovations.
