The technology firm Diginex, which specializes in sustainability compliance solutions, has announced another strategic move to strengthen its position in the growing ESG due diligence market. The company confirmed the acquisition of Hong Kong-based human rights specialist, The Remedy Project. This follows a memorandum of understanding signed in November, with a definitive agreement now in place as of December 18.
A Complementary Expertise
The acquisition brings Diginex specialized knowledge in human rights due diligence, grievance mechanisms, and programs designed to combat forced labor within supply chains. The Remedy Project’s consulting services address areas that are becoming increasingly mandatory for corporations, driven by stricter regulations like the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D).
This new expertise will integrate with Diginex’s existing technological platform, diginexAPPRISE. Originally developed by the United Nations, this multilingual platform is used to gather worker feedback across global supply chains. The combined offering aims to provide clients with a comprehensive solution, enabling them not only to identify human rights risks but also to implement verifiable corrective actions.
Leadership and Strategic Vision
As part of the transaction, Archana Kotecha, Founder and CEO of The Remedy Project, will join Diginex’s executive management team. Her focus will be on driving innovation for the Remedy division and expanding global corporate and government relationships.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Diginex?
Diginex Chairman Miles Pelham emphasized the strategic rationale behind the deal. He stated that merging consulting expertise with scalable technology creates a unique position, allowing the company to cover the entire human rights due diligence cycle—from initial risk monitoring through to verified remediation.
Building an Integrated Compliance Platform
The purchase of The Remedy Project is the latest in a series of acquisitions by Diginex. The company is actively pursuing an aggressive growth-through-acquisition strategy to broaden its product portfolio in the ESG compliance and supply chain management sector. With regulatory demands tightening worldwide, corporations face mounting pressure to ensure transparency and legal conformity in their supply networks. Diginex is positioning itself as a provider capable of delivering both the necessary technological infrastructure and the deep subject-matter expertise.
