Kevin Hart’s “Die Hart” Series Will Be Reimagined as a Feature movie on Prime Video!

Kevin Hart’s “Die Hart” series is being reimagined as a feature film on Prime Video. The satirical action comedy, which is a condensed version of the ten-episode Quibi series turned into a feature-length film, is scheduled to open on February 24 all around the globe and with screenings in select theaters in South Africa through distributor Empire.

Comedian Kevin Hart, known for his roles in Ride Along and Fatherhood, is portrayed in the film Die Hart as a fictionalized version of himself. The film follows Hart as he attempts to move away from being typecast as a comic sidekick so that he may be taken seriously as an action movie star.

A number of well-known actors, including John Travolta (Pulp Fiction and Saturday Night Fever), Nathalie Emmanuel (The Invitation and Game of Thrones), Josh Hartnett (Lucky Number Slevin and The Faculty), and Jean Reno (Leon: The Professional and Ronin), have landed roles in the film adaptation of the series. Hart is also a part of the cast. At the show, the famous comedian joins an “action hero school” that is directed by Ron Wilcox (played by Travolta), where he learns the ins and outs of the business in an effort to become one of the most sought-after action stars in the industry.

Roku acquired the rights to the series after it purchased Quibi’s assets, despite the fact that it had first debuted in the United States on Quibi in the year 2020. Now, the streaming service is in the process of producing a second season of Die Hart, which will be titled Die Hart 2: Die Harter.

The series will star the almost mythical, professional WWE wrestler John Cena (The Suicide Squad, Trainwreck), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation, The Afterparty), and Paula Pell (Wine Country, A.P. Bio). The remade movie for Amazon was likewise directed by Eric Appel, who is known for his work on the television series Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and it was written by Derek Kolstad, who is known for his work on the television series (John Wick: Chapter 1, 2 & 3).

“We love this film and cannot wait to share it with our viewers,” said Chris Mansolillo, who is the Director of Content Acquisition for Prime Video. Kevin Hart is considered to be one of the most amazing performers in the world, and we’re thrilled to collaborate with him and Hartbeat as the exclusive home for this fantastic film.”
