On Tuesday morning the producer Joshua Safran tweeted about the French’s death. He said he can confirm that his good friend, co-worker, and everyone around inspiration, Jahmil French, kicked the bucket yesterday. He also wrote that at this time we’re all just processing this hurtful news.
Safran worked with French for the Netflix series “Soundtrack,” an opera set in Los Angeles where French used to play Dante Mendoza, who works to regulate life outside of prison.
