Apex Critical Metals Accelerates Drilling Campaign at Nebraska Rare Earths Project

The exploration pace is quickening for Apex Critical Metals at its Rift rare earth element project in Nebraska. The company now has two drill rigs operating concurrently, systematically testing the potential of the Elk Creek Carbonatite Complex. While initial drilling has intersected promising geological intervals, the market awaits definitive assay results to confirm mineralization.

Systematic Testing Underway with Dual Rigs

The deployment of a second drill rig represents a strategic acceleration of Apex Critical Metals’ exploration schedule. Operations are focused on a high-priority target area where historical drill data previously indicated rare earth element mineralization. This dual-rig approach allows the company to advance its Phase I program more aggressively, aiming to confirm and potentially expand upon the historical findings.

Key details of the ongoing drill campaign include:
* Drill hole RIFT26-002 intersected an approximately 330-meter interval of carbonate starting at a depth of 178 meters.
* A second hole, RIFT26-001A, has reached a depth of 110 meters toward a planned target depth of 600 meters.
* A third hole, RIFT26-003, has already been commenced.
* The current target zone extends roughly 850 meters in a north-south direction.

Confirming Historical Mineralization is Primary Goal

The core objective of this initial phase of work is to verify the continuity and scale of the rare earth mineralization identified in past campaigns. The drilling is designed to test the mineralization along strike and at depth. Hole RIFT26-002 was collared approximately 100 meters south of a previous historical hole and successfully cut the lengthy carbonate interval.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Apex Critical Metals?

Sean Charland, Chief Executive Officer of Apex Critical Metals, emphasized that operating two rigs is a crucial step in better defining the extent and consistency of the mineralization within the target area. The program builds directly on earlier results with the goal of enhancing the geological understanding of the mineralized system.

Assay Results Pending for Economic Assessment

A critical distinction for investors is that while the drilling has successfully intersected the target carbonate host rock, comprehensive laboratory analyses are still pending. These assay results are necessary to confirm the presence, type, and concentration of any rare earth element mineralization within the intersected geology. Only this forthcoming data will determine if the geological expectations translate into economically significant grades.

With a structured, systematic exploration approach now bolstered by two active drill rigs, Apex Critical Metals is positioned to efficiently evaluate its project’s potential. The coming weeks are expected to reveal whether the company can successfully replicate and potentially expand upon the historical results.
