Amazon Pharmacy has begun distributing Eli Lilly’s Zepbound KwikPen, a weight-loss medication from the sought-after class of GLP-1 drugs. A central pillar of this move is price transparency: patients are shown a clear cash price of $299 for the starting dose directly before completing their purchase.
This business segment also gains tremendous leverage from Amazon’s proprietary logistics network.
