Tristan Thompson sent a statement about not feeling wrong about his past more than two months after confirming that he fathered a kid with Maralee Nichols.
Tristan Thompson has his sights set on the future.
On March 16, while the Chicago Bulls player’s paternity controversy with Maralee Nichols continues to publicize, he sent a mysterious message to his Instagram Story.
“Rather than making you feel bad, let the past guide you,” the statement stated. “Allow yourself to be excited about the future rather than anxious about it. Allow the moment to be a gift to you.
rather than a curse that forces you to live in the past or future.”
Though it’s unknown what sparked Tristan’s recent post, it comes more than a month after Maralee claimed that he wasn’t supporting their baby, Theo Thompson, born in December.
“Despite public rumors to the contrary, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support their son,” Maralee’s representative stated in a statement to E! News on February 15, denying a report that he was supposedly giving her $40,000 per month. “He hasn’t tried to meet their son and hasn’t offered any financial aid. We expect that reporters covering this story would call us in the future to confirm any details before publication.”

Tristan Thompson, 31, was in a relationship with Khloe Kardashian, the mother of his 3-year-old daughter True Thompson, when the child was conceived, according to Maralee, on his 30th birthday in March 2021.
Maralee has recently filed a paternity case against Tristan, seeking reimbursement for pregnancy and newborn costs. She also demanded complete legal and physical custody of Theo, with visitation rights granted to Tristan.
The audience also showed the reality TV star’s emotional conversation with her sisters Kim, Kendall, and Kylie.
She can question, “Why do we always make excuses for the individuals who traumatize us?”
In another shot, Kardashian is conversing with Kris Jenner and Scott Disick, Kourtney’s ex. She advised, “Never go against the family.”
