Zynga, the mobile gaming label wholly owned by Take-Two Interactive, is rolling out a substantial refresh to Words With Friends. More than 25,000 playable terms are being added to the title’s internal dictionary, alongside modernized definitions, according to an announcement made yesterday. Players gain access to the new content immediately.
The update also introduces a reporting tool that lets users flag words from inside the app, a feature designed to support ongoing editorial upkeep of the database and sharpen the overall play experience.
Wells Fargo Lifts Its Price Target
Analyst sentiment provided an additional tailwind. Wells Fargo reaffirmed its “Buy” rating on Take-Two and raised its price target from $295 to $300, as reported by media outlets. The stock finished yesterday’s session at EUR 186.80, up 2.5%, with market participants attributing the advance to the more optimistic assessment — though no party has confirmed that link. The fresh call from the U.S. banking sector was enough to revive buying interest and steady the share price after a stretch of repeated swings.
Xbox Agreement Replaces Prior Arrangements
On the distribution front, Take-Two had already locked in long-term terms with platform holders. Effective September 17, the company entered a new Xbox Publisher License Agreement with Microsoft. The deal governs the release of Xbox-compatible products across all Xbox devices and supersedes the previous agreements between the two partners. The corresponding filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission was made on September 28.

Boardroom Activity: Grants and a Rule 10b5-1 Sale
Leadership-level transactions also drew disclosure at the start of the month. On October 1, four board members received stock-based awards: Paul E. Viera, Roland A. Hernandez, Ellen F. Siminoff and William B. Gordon. The following day brought a disposal from within the boardroom. Director Michael Sheresky parted with 484 shares on October 2. A mandatory SEC notice shows the transaction was carried out under a pre-arranged trading plan pursuant to Rule 10b5-1 — arrangements that fix sale timing and volumes in advance to guard against conflicts of interest in insider dealings.
Two Pillars, One Portfolio
Taken together, the recent developments highlight how the company is positioned. On one side, analyst houses are tracking the valuation with an eye on the console and PC business. On the other, regular Zynga updates keep activity flowing on mobile devices. For shareholders, that balance between major releases and recurring revenue remains central to the everyday story.
