Silver North Resources has laid the groundwork for an extensive multi-year exploration initiative across its silver properties in Canada’s Yukon territory. The company has now finalized operational schedules, backed by a secured financial runway, allowing it to accelerate its activities significantly.
Market Responds to Operational Clarity
Investors reacted favorably to the detailed operational update. The company’s shares advanced approximately 9.7% on the news, with the equity currently trading at €0.17. This move represents a partial recovery from a 52-week low of €0.15, which was recorded just the previous day.
A Two-Year, Fully Funded Exploration Program
A cornerstone of the company’s strategy is a two-year diamond drilling contract spanning 2026 and 2027. This agreement encompasses a planned 10,000 to 14,000 meters of drilling. Crucially, management confirmed that recent financing initiatives have fully funded the field seasons for both 2026 and 2027. This financial stability alleviates near-term liquidity concerns and enables sustained exploration work within the prolific Keno Hill District.
Preparations are already underway. The mobilization of two diamond drill rigs to the Haldane project was scheduled for mid-March. Barring any delays, drilling operations are expected to commence in the first week of June.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Silver North Resources?
Dual-Property Focus: Haldane and Veronica
The campaign will concentrate on the Haldane and Veronica silver projects. At Haldane, the primary objective is to expand the known mineralization along the “Main Fault” zone.
Concurrently, the company is employing advanced geophysical techniques to refine targets. Specialized airborne surveys are slated to begin in late March or early April. While these surveys will help pinpoint drilling locations at Haldane, their primary purpose at the Veronica project is to define future drill targets from the ground up.
Strategic Outlook and Summer 2026 Expansion
Management’s immediate focus is on the results from the upcoming geophysical work. The data gathered in the coming weeks will be critical for determining the exact positioning of the drill rigs in June to most effectively extend the known mineralized zones at Haldane.
Looking further ahead, the company plans to broaden its activities to include the Silvertip District in the summer of 2026.
