U.S. Gold Corp. Advances Wyoming Project with Key Milestones in Sight

U.S. Gold Corp. is making significant progress in developing its CK Gold Project in Wyoming. A recent capital raise and strategic land acquisitions are paving the way for a targeted construction start in 2026. The company now faces a critical period to secure the final project financing required to meet this ambitious timeline.

  • A private placement with institutional investors raised $31.2 million in December.
  • The acquisition of key land parcels for project infrastructure has been finalized.
  • An updated feasibility study is anticipated in the first quarter of 2026.
  • Construction of the gold-copper project remains scheduled to commence in 2026.

Capital and Strategic Land Position Strengthened

Financially, the company solidified its foundation late last year. In December, U.S. Gold Corp. secured approximately $31.2 million through a private placement directed at institutional investors. These proceeds are earmarked for initial development costs, further exploration across its portfolio, and general corporate working capital.

On the operational front, the company’s subsidiary, Gold King Corp., has completed the purchase of a strategic 10-acre site within the North Range Business Park near Cheyenne. This transaction was finalized as planned in January. The location is intended to function as a central hub for personnel and logistics, offering direct access to major interstate highways.

This new parcel, combined with approximately 111 acres of adjacent land secured previously, provides the necessary operational space and buffer zones for the CK Gold Project. These acquisitions represent essential components for the planned construction phase.

Upcoming Catalysts and Stable Permitting

The first quarter of 2026 is shaping up to be a pivotal period for the company’s trajectory. During this window, U.S. Gold Corp. expects to release an updated feasibility study. This document is crucial as it will provide more precise capital cost estimates and detailed technical specifications. Management aims to use this study as the foundation to secure full construction financing by mid-2026.

The project benefits from largely stable regulatory conditions. The mining operating permit, granted in April 2024, remains in effect for a ten-year period.

Supportive Market Dynamics and Broader Portfolio

The broader market environment appears favorable. After experiencing some selling pressure earlier, gold prices have shown signs of recovery, supported by inflows into ETFs and ongoing geopolitical factors. The CK Gold Project, with its exposure to both gold and copper, stands to benefit from sustained demand for safe-haven assets and critical industrial metals.

Beyond its flagship Wyoming endeavor, U.S. Gold Corp. continues to hold exploration properties in the mining-friendly jurisdictions of Nevada and Idaho.

The next potential catalyst for investor attention is expected in mid-March, when the company is scheduled to release its quarterly financial results, likely on March 16 or 17. Until then, the market’s primary focus will be on the forthcoming feasibility study, which will serve as the cornerstone for the major financing effort this summer.
