8 Mile star Nashawn Breedlove died aged 46!

On Sunday, actor Nashawn Breedlove died at 46, playing the leading role alongside Eminem in the film 8 Mile. His family confirmed the terrible news to TMZ, who also learned that he passed away at his New Jersey home. The news source claims that his loved ones don’t even know what killed him.

Breedlove’s musical abilities, using the alias Ox to rap, propelled him to popularity.

His next big break came in 2001 when his song “Don’t Talk S**t” was included in the film’s soundtrack. The star is in excellent company on the album, as Busta Rhymes, Xzibit, D12, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg all make cameo appearances in the flick. Breedlove played Lotto, Eminem’s rap rival, in 8 Mile. Eminem played the role of B-Rabbit.

Along with Kim Basinger and Mekhi Phifer, the cast also included Brittany Murphy, Taryn Manning, and Evan Jones.

The news of Breedlove’s death prompted an outpouring of grief from his legion of fans on various social media platforms. Rest in peace, Nashawn Breedlove, or “Lotto” from 8 Mile, as one user called it. This man is the only one who can beat Eminem in a fight. Damn. End of an era. A third user said, “#RIPLotto #NashawnBreedlove he had one of my favorite scenes in that movie.” However, a supporter said, “RIP Nashawn Breedlove; I wish your family blessings.”
