Netflix is often the first place people turn when they want to watch anything since it was the first extensively utilized streaming service. This July, some of those viewers will most likely be looking for something that embodies America.
Anyone who has ever lived in America understands that our nation is more than just one thing. As a result, we’ve curated a list of programs that are ideal for celebrating July, even if they have nothing in common. These are the best Netflix series to watch on Netflix during the July vacation.
Band of Brothers (2001)
Band of Brothers, a classic HBO production by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks that follows a single battalion through the crucible of D-Day and World War II, is one of the best miniseries ever created.
Band of Brothers, which often focuses on new personalities in each episode, provides what seems to be an honest picture of the challenges these guys experienced and the courage they frequently demonstrated in response. Despite all of America’s flaws, these are the folks we can really be proud of.
You can watch ‘Band of Brothers,’ one of the best series on Netflix.
All American (2018)
All American is a wonderful narrative that has developed and altered with its major characters. It follows a bright football prospect who leaves his poorer, more diverse school for the chance to play in Beverly Hills. When he experiences some culture shock and realizes that he is no longer his team’s lone star, he must deal with the repercussions.
All American has become one of Netflix’s most popular programs, and for good reason. It’s a fantastic depiction of the numerous benefits and drawbacks of being a very successful athlete.

O.J.: Made in America (2016)
O.J. Simpson’s narrative is one of the most convoluted in American history, but it also perfectly exemplifies what America is. Made in America follows O.J. from before he was accused of murder until after he was convicted, concentrating on his whole life, particularly how he has engaged with his own racial identity.
Because it is so detailed, this documentary miniseries seems like not just the ultimate recounting of O.J.’s narrative, but also about what it means to accumulate riches and power as a Black man in America.
You can watch O.J.: Made in America on Netflix.
The Diplomat (2023)
The Diplomat is a fast-paced, constantly interesting, if somewhat surreal story about an American diplomat who finds herself appointed ambassador to the United Kingdom virtually against her will.
As she contends with her failing marriage to another high-ranking ambassador and her unexpected rise through the echelons of American politics, she also faces a true crisis in the United Kingdom. Keri Russell is the kind of actress who can sell anything, and in The Diplomat, she gets to portray an intriguing character that isn’t necessarily sympathetic or relatable.
You can watch ‘ The Diplomat,’ one of the best series on Netflix.
Friday Night Lights (2006-2011)
Football is a great American activity, at least now, and Friday Night Lights is one of the best programs ever created about the field. The series is set in a fictitious Texas town that has nothing going for it save the high school football team, and it tells the narrative of both the squad and the people who adore them.
Friday Night Lights is a genuinely honest, passionate drama with outstanding performances, but what distinguishes it is its willingness to trust in the power of symbols such as football, even if few people can earn a career from it.
